The Royal Wedding of My Generation..

Nothing could have prepared me for such a beautiful wedding.
All the magazines I have read, the blogs, the news stories...
This wedding was important for me to watch for the following three reasons:
1. Every girl has dreamt of meeting her "prince charming", him sweeping her off her feet (which are in a pair of workin' boots), and making her his princess.  Kate is living our dream, girls.
2. I desperately needed to see the dress.
3.  And last, but not least, my favorite part of every wedding...seeing the grooms face when he catches a glimpse of his bride walking towards him down the aisle.

First of all, the dress was absolutely breathtaking.
It was worth waking up at 2:45am and waiting for.
I, personally, am a huge fan of lace on something as elegant as a wedding dress.
The first thing I said when she exited the car was, "GAH look at that waist!"
The cinched bodice immediately reminded everyone of Grace Kelly's dress from 1956.
When watching Princess Diana's wedding from the 80's (I obviously was not around to see it), I immediately cringed at the sight of her UNGODLY long train.
Was that necessary?  Was that the fashion?
Don't know...don't really care...ain't my cup of tea.
Kate's train, however, was at an appropriate length.
Just enough to add some drama to the dress.
Ladies and gentlemen, she has brought back the long sleeves.
I personally don't believe that I could pull of the long sleeves.  Kate is tall and has long limbs.  I, on the other hand, am petite all around.  I suppose in the future I could try it...tell the girls, "Make me feel like Kate."

William, despite his balding, looked very handsome and very much in love.
My heart skipped a beat when she arrived after her four minute trek down the aisle, and he mouthed those three words...
"You look beautiful."
SWOON.
Every girl and woman around the world let out a sigh.

Anyway, my obsession for the day consist of one thing:
The Royal Wedding of Wills and Kate.

the beginning

I am a full time college student, with just enough time on the side to run around town and play with my dog that has come to be known as Kitty.

I have a great guy in my life that has sacrificed a lot for me.  We are complete opposites.  For example, he is really outgoing and I am more of a wall flower.  We somehow find a way to meet in the middle.

I have a few friends that I am close with.  I have grown up from high school and left a lot of people behind.

My family supports me in every way imaginable.  It's just me, dad, mom & Kitty.  I like it that way.

My interests shift slightly from day to day, so bare with me.
